The UV Curable Ink
The VPJet series of vertical printers utilize UV curable ink and feature refillable ink tanks, which provide a lower cost of ink usage compared to disposable cartridges.
After being tested by the DXonJet team, it has been determined that the Nazdar 270 Series UV-LED Inks are perfectly compatible with the VPJet4.0 vertical wall printer.
In theory, any UV curing ink that can be compatible with Epson DX7 and Ricoh TH5241 printhead can be used on the VPJet4.0 (Epson DX7) wall Printer machines.
However, it is not recommended to do so for several reasons:
The quality of ink has a decisive influence on the color of printed materials. Inks from different manufacturers have different dosages of additives, which can cause color deviation.
Different inks have different characteristics due to different additives, such as the size of the smallest ink droplet. Ricoh printing nozzles have 4 levels of grayscale capability, and the smallest ink droplet requires 3pl. If the ink parameters do not meet this requirement, the quality of the printed image will be affected.
The VPJet series printers undergo professional ICC color calibration before leaving the factory. The Printhead model, ink model, and machine architecture are all factors that affect the color configuration.
High quality ink causes less damage to the printing nozzle, thereby prolonging its lifespan.
