What Causes The Printhead To Clog?

Several factors can cause inkjet printhead clogging, primarily due to large particulates entering the nozzle interior, leading to blockage. These particulates may result from ink sedimentation due to prolonged inactivity or from dust infiltrating the ink, causing the printhead to clog. Therefore, maintaining the flow of ink within the printhead is an effective way to prevent nozzle clogging.

Additionally, keeping the printhead surface moist and free from dried ink residue is also crucial.The nozzle surface features over 1,000 nozzles, these precise small holes need to remain moist and unobstructed to ensure smooth ejection of ink droplets. Otherwise, the ink droplets will be blocked on the hardened nozzle surface and fail to eject.
