Can DPI Be Used As A Measure of The Quality of A Wall Print?
April 22, 2024This update mainly enhances the stability of the VPJet4.0 Wall Printer during the printing process, as well as the time and logic of UV lamp curing irradiation. Specifically, updates are required for the main board CPU program, main board FPGA program, headboard CPU program, headboard FPGA program, and DXonJet control software.
| Update Type | Update Items |
| Main Board CPU Program | Adding support for the Z-axis motor speed adjustment program Adding support for the waiting time function of the printer head in the Y-axis Optimize the time and logic of UV lamp curing irradiation |
| Main Board FPGA Program | Optimize the program to fix the data loss bug |
| Head Board CPU Program | Adding support for the Z-axis motor speed adjustment program Adding support for the waiting time function of the printer head in the Y-axis Optimize the time and logic of UV lamp curing irradiation Adding short circuit protection function to the circuit board |
| Head Board FPGA Program | Adding support for the Z-axis motor speed adjustment program |
| DXonJet Control Software | Add support for the Z-axis motor speed adjustment control interface Adjust language display: Z-Manual/ Z-Automatic |
Enhancing The Stability of The Wall Printing Process in All Aspects
Due to the ultrasonic sensor on the printhead continuously transmitting distance data to the CPU, the printhead of the wall printer is always kept at a certain distance from the wall. If the wall printer is printing on an uneven wall surface, the printhead will frequently move back and forth in the Z-axis direction, thus subjecting the entire printer body to impact forces. The printer may therefore shake, or even experience resonance, resulting in decreased printing accuracy.
The VPJet4.0 wall printer from DXonJet Company now has a more robust body that can withstand a certain amount of impact. The updated program reduces the impact force on the body by lowering the Z-axis motor speed. Additionally, increasing the dwell time of the printhead at the top and bottom helps prevent body resonance.
Testing by the DXonJet team has shown that this update greatly improves the stability of the VPJet series wall printers, ensuring print quality is maintained.
Improving UV Lamp Curing Efficiency And Logic
We have optimized the effective exposure and curing time of UV lamps, reducing overexposure time and thus improving exposure efficiency while saving energy.
